Trinitat
Quiet La Saidia bend at the old riverbed with the Iglesia de la Trinidad landmark
Living in Trinitat
Trinitat occupies the bend of the old Turia riverbed in eastern La Saidia, taking its name from the 13th-century Iglesia de la Santisima Trinidad and the Royal Monastery on Plaza Trinidad. The Turia gardens hug the southern edge for the entire length of the barrio, and most residents treat the park as their front garden.
Housing is a mix of 1960s-70s blocks closer to Avenida Constitucio and restored period buildings near the church. 2026 rents for a renovated 2-bed run 850 to 1,200 euros. The demographic skews older and Spanish, with a strong run of multi-generational families who have lived in the same building for decades.
Transport: Trinitat metro (L1, L2) sits in the barrio and reaches Xativa in 6 minutes or Benimaclet in 4. EMT bus 28 runs along Calle Sagunto. The Turia gardens are immediately south and the cycle path connects to the centre in 8 minutes.
Trade-offs: streetscape on the inland side is plain, destination dining is limited and the barrio is residential rather than a destination - you live here, you do not visit. But for families who want quiet Turia-side living, a metro station inside the barrio and rents below centre Eixample, Trinitat is one of the most overlooked good-value addresses in Valencia.
