Where to watch films in English in Valencia

Spain dubs almost everything by default. The fix is to look for V.O.S.E. (Versión Original Subtitulada en Español), original English audio with Spanish subtitles. Five cinemas in Valencia screen V.O.S.E. regularly in 2026.

What V.O.S.E. actually means

Spanish cinemas dub almost everything in Castilian, including animated kids' films, blockbusters, and prestige dramas. To watch in English you need to find a screening labelled V.O.S.E. (Versión Original Subtitulada en Español) or just V.O. The audio is original; the subtitles are Spanish. A handful of Valencia cinemas program these screenings every week, some only on certain nights, others on every showtime.

How to spot V.O. listings online

Look for V.O.S.E. or V.O.

If a listing just shows the title, it is dubbed. The V.O.S.E. tag is mandatory next to original-language showtimes.

Filter on the cinema's website

Yelmo, Kinepolis and Cinesa all have a 'V.O.S.E.' checkbox at the top of their daily showtime grid.

Sensacine and FilmAffinity

Both list Valencia showtimes and tag the V.O. ones. Faster than visiting each cinema's site individually.

Wednesday is bargain night

'Día del espectador' (Wednesday at most chains) drops tickets to around €5. Many V.O. screenings are scheduled mid-week to fit this.
