Most conversations about Valencia's startup scene end up pointing at the same physical and institutional cluster on the old America's Cup waterfront. The umbrella is Marina de Empresas, founded in 2015 by Juan Roig and structured around three pillars: EDEM for business education, Lanzadera for acceleration, and Angels for early-stage investment.[4] [6]
Marina de Empresas answers the where-is-the-ecosystem question.[6] Lanzadera answers the how-do-I-apply-to-the-accelerator question.[11] Innsomnia, also at La Marina, answers the where-do-corporate-innovation-and-sector-programmes-happen question, with verticals across fintech, smartports, agrotech, health, AI and more.[13] [14] Pick the door that matches what you actually need, not just the most recognisable name.
The three hubs
Each page is a sourced practical guide. We focus on what's verifiable in 2026: scale, application logic, programme structure, address, and what an international founder should sanity-check before getting involved.

Read the guideWhat about Geographica?
Geographica is often listed alongside the three above. We've left it out of Phase 1 because public sources show it was acquired by CARTO in 2019 and the team is documented in Seville and Madrid, not Valencia.[1] [3] Until we have clearer evidence of a current Valencia footprint, treating it as a standalone Valencia startup employer would be misleading. We'll cover it separately when the CARTO + Valencia picture is clearer.
