Beach volleyball in Valencia as a group

Valencia's municipal beach volleyball facility on the Malva-rosa has 32 sand courts, open all year and run by the club known as Beachbol. Groups come to train, to play among themselves or to enter a tournament.

The Malva-rosa courts for a visiting group

The Fundaci贸 Esportiva Municipal manages the facility and the Club de V贸ley Playa la Malva, known as Beachbol, runs the activity. The Ajuntament reported more than 120,000 uses of the courts in 2025, with about 60 sporting events.

Courts are booked through Beachbol, and opening hours change with the season. Our beach volleyball guide covers booking, lessons and the best time of day.

Tournaments and the best season for beach volleyball

Beachbol runs amateur and federated tournaments through the year. In 2026 its calendar included the XVI Open La Malva on 25 and 26 July and an event called Endless Summer on 17 and 18 October.

From June to September, early morning and late afternoon are the most comfortable hours on the sand. Spring and autumn are milder, which suits a group that wants several sessions a day.
