El Saler
Coastal Pobles del Sud village with the Parador, dunes and an Albufera-edge golf course
Living in El Saler
El Saler is the southern coastal Pobles del Sud village with about 1,500 residents, sitting inside the Albufera Natural Park between the sea, the pine forests of the Devesa and the lagoon. The barrio is the southern beach destination for many Valencia residents thanks to wide sandy beaches, a Parador hotel, the El Saler golf course and protected dune walks. Off-season the village is genuinely calm; summer brings a clear surge of day visitors and renters.
Housing mixes traditional village houses near the sea, post-1980 chalets in the pine-forest pockets, and a noticeable share of second homes. EMT bus 25 connects the barrio to the centre in around 25 minutes. Realistic mainly for renters who actively want forest-and-beach living and either work remotely or have a car for off-bus trips.
