Cycling trips to Valencia for groups

For cycling clubs and groups of riders. Tell us about your group and we will talk it through.

Cycling in Valencia as a group

Valencia is flat, has a network of bike lanes and the Turia gardens across the city, with the huerta and the coast on its doorstep.

Tell us what kind of riding your group wants.

Riding in and around Valencia as a group

Valencia is flat, and the old Turia riverbed crosses the city as a continuous park that riders use to get from one side to the other. Beyond the centre, the huerta and the coast are on the doorstep, and the Serra Calderona rises to the north for riders who want to climb.

For a club, the first practical question is bikes: bring your own, or hire road bikes locally and have them waiting on arrival.

Moving a group of riders around Valencia

Metrovalencia allows full-size non-electric bikes on the surface sections of its network, up to four per train and in the last carriage. They are not allowed on underground sections or on the trams, so a group of riders cannot travel together by metro.

In practice, a club plans rides that start from the hotel, or arranges transport for the bikes. Our guide to cycling in Valencia covers the lanes, Valenbisi and the rules.
